Proposal and Plan
General outline of ideas:
For task 3 of my photography unit I have chosen an overarching theme of Nature Photography.
Under this theme I intend to make up my final ten images out of a mixture of Fine Art, Macro and Documentary Photographs. My photography will include images of leaves, trees, rural landscapes and animals.

Where will you go?
I will be taking my photographs on the top of Werneth Low Country Park on the top of Gee Cross. This rural landscape will be perfect for the type of photos I want to take. The park has many hills, trees and animals that I will be able to photograph as well as a war memorial at the top which I hope to implement into one of the photos.

What techniques will you utilise and why?
While out shooting I will utilise a wide range of camera techniques that I have learnt in task one and two of the unit. When taking my photos I will carefully consider framing them well within the rule of thirds and shoot manual carefully using Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO settings. I will also consider the lighting in each of the images and the camera angle and lens length that would be best to use.

What will be your intended emotional response?
I intend to keep my photos quite simple with each having a clear focus. My aim is to create ten final images that really make the audience think. The audience can take what they want out of the images and have different opinions on there meaning - I don't intend for the images to have a set meaning, I just want to create imagery that is thought provoking for the viewer. If my photos leave the audience thinking about what they mean then I will have been successful.

How will you achieve this in post-production?
The editing stage will be just as important for me as going out and taking the photos. It's in the editing stage where I really want to take my photographs to the next level. In the post-production stage I aim to really work on the colours and the framing of the images. These basic corrections and enhancements will really make the difference to the audience.
